TECHNICAL PRODUCTION / LIGHTING / PREVIZ / VIDEO / MEDIA SERVERS / LED SCREENS

Creative Technology proudly powered the spectacular opening ceremony of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, featuring electrifying performances by Post Malone and Alesso. Delivered in collaboration with MDLBEAST, CTME delivered bold creative visions with seamless technical execution that captured global attention.

The show’s lighting was nothing short of extraordinary. CTME’s lighting team brought this stunning design by Jon Kusner of 22 Degrees to life using Depence R4 for previsualization, enabling efficient programming and smooth onsite execution. With over 1,500 fixtures running across 250 universes and nearly 120,000 parameters, the rig was an impressive feat, backed by a robust, scalable network infrastructure.

Over 90 million pixels were managed by seven disguise VX4+ servers, delivering content across 388 m² of LED and projection mapping. CT deployed Panasonic RQ50K projectors, each receiving a UHD signal from Disguise media servers. A lightweight ceiling display was created with 121 m² of Vanish V8T LED panels, while 195 m² of ROE Visual Black Marble BM4 formed the durable LED stage floor.

For the VIP experience, 72 m² of INFiLED ART 4.6mm screens were installed on both sides of the stage. Dual NovaStar Technology H9 and Brompton Technology SX40 systems handled video processing. Video engineering by Visual Noise excelled in precision and creativity. Thanks to MDLBEAST, TAIT for production support, and the talented teams: POSSIBLE Productions, Visual Noise, 22 Degrees, and Wieder Design Studios.
