Creative Technology provided a full range of technical services across 14 international events over two years, helping to deliver high quality coverage and an exceptional experience for fans and guests in Mexico, Adelaide, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The comprehensive support package included a full production suite centred around the Panasonic Kairos video switcher, capable of handling up to 115 sources and 60 outputs, alongside 28 multi-view heads and five XPression graphics channels. Two identical production systems, managed by CT’s UK team, travel between events in a leapfrogging setup to ensure seamless delivery and operational efficiency.
CT installed a robust fibre network averaging 25 kilometres per event to support broadcast and event operations. This network carries broadcast signals, IPTV streams, Dante audio feeds, and connections to screens, speakers, and hospitality areas, creating a fully integrated infrastructure. For LED, CT supplies approximately 15 screens per event, totalling 600 square metres of display, with outputs centrally processed and monitored via NDI cameras to achieve optimal image quality.
CT also manages audio and communications across each site, deploying 26 wireless belt packs and 16 wired panels integrated with the broadcast comms systems. In hospitality areas, an IPTV service keeps guests connected to the live action. CT uses locally sourced equipment and maintains dedicated teams on site throughout each event to oversee setup, provide maintenance, and manage last-minute changes.
